TOWN OF SHARON

                                    ASSESSORS MEETING MEETINGS

                                                MAY 14, 2012

12:30 P.M.       Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Ellen W. Abelson,

                        Richard B. Gorden and Mark J. Mazur.

            1.         The Board granted a fiscal year 2012 clause 18A deferral exemption to the                   owner of parcel 70-51.

2. The Board reviewed the abatement application of the owner of parcel #

32-48 who was scheduled to meet with the Board at 1:00 P.M.

3. The Board discussed the tax status of a religious organization that leases

part of their space to a school. The Board agreed to have information forwarded to Town Counsel so he can help us determine if the school and the part of the property that they occupy should be considered tax exempt.

4. The Board considered a settlement offer to a pending ATB case and

agreed to make a counter offer.

5. The Board decided to hold their next Board meeting at 5:00 P.M. on

Thursday, May 31, 2012.

6. Note that the individual who was scheduled to meet with the Board at

1:00 P.M. to discuss the denial of his abatement application did not show up.
